Tart, slightly sweet and smooth with a fruity appl Tart, slightly sweet and smooth with a fruity apple forward taste, this Fall Gin & Tonic is filled to the brim with cozy, warm fall flavors. Easy on the eyes and downright delicious, this cocktail is perfect for all your fall and holiday gatherings (definitely make this for Thanksgiving)! Or make it tonight, the choice is yours and the recipe is below. Cue the moody jewel tones and some cozy jazz.⁣
⁣
INGREDIENTS⁣
2 oz gin⁣
½ oz apple cider⁣
Spritz lime juice⁣
1 oz. tonic⁣
Optional sweetener: simple syrup or simple honey⁣
Garnish: thin apple slices, sprig of thyme ⁣
⁣
INSTRUCTIONS⁣
1. Add gin to a highball glass or otherwise 8 ounce glass, filled with ice.⁣
2. Pour gin and cider. Stir.⁣
3. Sprits with lime, add bitters and top with tonic. Stir again, adding optional sweetener. ⁣
4. Garnish with a thin apple slice and sprig of thyme. Serve immediately.⁣
⁣
*Note:  If you’d like to add an optional sweetener, simple syrup or simple honey is super easy to make, all you have to do is combine equal parts sugar or honey and water into a saucepan and dissolve together at low heat.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and the on Thanksgiving is right around the corner and the one thing that I love most about the holiday is all of the delicious decadent desserts.. especially the pies. This Pecan Pie may just be the showstopper on your dessert table this year. ⁣
⁣
With just 11 ingredients, this pie is easy to make, but would fool anyone into thinking you’re a certified master baker. Find the recipe below or screenshot in stories, tag me if you make it!  ⁣

INGREDIENTS⁣
1 pie crust, rolled into a 12-13-inch circle⁣
3 eggs⁣
¾ cup unsalted butter, browned and cooled⁣
1½ cups brown sugar⁣
¼ cup + 2 T maple syrup⁣
2 T gluten-free all-purpose flour⁣
½ t salt⁣
¾ cinnamon ⁣
2 T coconut cream⁣
2 t vanilla extract⁣
1 cup raw pecans, chopped⁣
2 cups raw pecans, whole⁣
⁣
INSTRUCTIONS⁣
Preheat oven to 350°F.⁣
⁣
Press crust into 9-inch pie plate & place in fridge. ⁣
⁣
In a standing mixer with whisk attachment, beat eggs on high speed until foamy. ⁣
⁣
Stir in browned butter, brown sugar & maple syrup until granules are fully dissolved. ⁣
⁣
Set the mixer to low & stir in flour, salt, cinnamon, coconut cream, vanilla, & chopped pecans until just combined. ⁣
⁣
Pour filling into the prepared pie crust and arrange the whole pecans on top. Bake for 1 hour or until filling no longer jiggles.⁣
⁣
Cool to room temperature before serving. Store covered at room temperature for up to 3 days, or up to 7 days in the refrigerator!

1 ounce heavy cream ⁣
1 ounce Baileys Irish Cream⁣
1 ounce vodka     ⁣
½ frozen banana⁣
2-3 ice cubes⁣
⁣
INSTRUCTIONS⁣
In a blender, combine all of the ingredients until smooth. Serve immediately straight or over ice.
