Well, here we are, just barely 1 week away from Christmas! Are you ready? I’ve just finished up the last of my shopping and am eager to wrap each one, as soon as time allows! First things first though, must get this blog post up- it’s been a long time in coming. I actually shot this recipe last December… crazy, I know. My schedule has been that insane, and even though I’ve been on pins and needles to share this post, it’s been a bit more complicated and hasn’t been the easiest to just throw up and publish.
Why you might ask? Well it contains not only the images captured below, but two corresponding films and an ebook with the recipe. It’s a venture I worked on earlier this year alongside two of my brothers who are clearly amazing… how did I get so lucky? A huge thanks to both Jesse and Calvin for encouraging me along the way and helping me spearhead this project. You’ll definitely want to grab the eBook as it contains the recipe for this post! It’s available to all new subscribers and for those of you who are already apart of the Portland Fresh community, I’ll be sending a link (if not already by the time you’re reading this) so you can take a look yourself. I hope you enjoy it!
This is also the first time I’ve been in a cooking video! My older brother Jesse filmed and edited the video below, and a huge thank you to him for all the many hours he put into this project! The video within this post is a full length video capturing a bit of the process in making your own homemade ricotta cheese. There’s also a second video you can view on my About page– it’s a slightly shorter version than the video here, but it includes a short interview with yours truly. It’s definitely worth checking out, you can see it at this link!
Thank you to Jesse as well for capturing a few of the images of myself in both this post and the ebook. I hope you enjoy this special post- I’d love to hear from you if you do! A very Merry Christmas to you and yours, and stay tuned for a couple of holiday posts coming your way in the next 2 weeks!
