Last weekend marked yet another installment of my Secret Supper long table gathering series here in Portland on September 19th alongside Eva Kosmas Flores and Suzanne Fuoco ! The event was again a massive success and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful evening. Honestly, is there a better way to spend a late summer evening, just before the brink of Autumn comes and the cool evenings settle in?
We had a magical location – I’m not sure how we got so lucky! Thank you so much to Andrea and Taylor for hosting us on your beautiful farm. By the time the main course was served, we were well into watching the sunset over Mt. Hood, which felt close enough to touch.
Our team actually spent the weekend on the farm, and I felt so spoiled to wake up to the beauty there each morning. Andrea and Taylor actually have a little Airbnb tent on the farm, and let me tell you, it’s the best kept secret around! Well, it’s actually not a secret apparently, as it regularly sells out! Make sure to check it out and plan your next getaway- you won’t regret it.
Weeks of event prep went into making this night happen, and it couldn’t have taken place without our brilliant sponsors (see listing below), and also the helping hand of not only Eva and Suzanne, but of our entire team that assisted us day of, Jess & Kawika, Eva, and Jeremy and Christi. And of course a huge thank you to our event assistant, Danielle Firle – we couldn’t have pulled it off without her!
Make sure to check back for a follow up event post coming to you in the next few days where I’ll be featuring my film collection captured that evening.
So today is the opening of tickets for our next dinner, hosted just outside the Portland area at a beautiful lodge on an old Christmas tree farm. This event is outside of the Secret Supper series, but will be quite similar in nature. Our amazing friend and stylist Stacey Clark will be joining Eva in teaching a full day food photography & styling workshop! We’ll top off the day with part 2 of the event, a long table gathering. It’ll be wonderfully wintery and magical at the lodge and this is an event you won’t want to miss! Just think, you could treat yourself to an early Christmas present and join us!
