Christmas Table Decor

So exciting – it’s the last full week before Christmas!

I get a lot of decor questions during the holidays. This year, table decor is a big topic of interest for many.   So I decided to do a bonus Christmas Table Decor post as a holiday gift from me to you : ).

It’s understandable that table design is a hot topic. We have 3 major holidays packed into less than 2 months and they require different decor.  Let’s be real, that is a lot for any one person. I hope this Holiday Table Decor provides inspiration and makes life easier.

To create this look I used some loved pieces in studio (listed further below)

+ a few seasonal favorites from Zara Home.

Below you’ll see some step by step photos to show how all these elements came together.  Know that every product is easy to find in stores. But, in case you prefer or need on-line shopping and delivery, each product has been hyperlinked just for you.  If a product isn’t listed below, that means it’s something from my own collection.

 |  Porcelain Dinner Plate | Earthenware Soup Plate | Metal Candlesticks |

+ extra tall candlesticks [similar options here and here] + vintage plate

Glitter Finished Side Plate  | Golden Table Knife | Golden Table Fork  | Washed Linen Napkins |

Starting with a baseline of neutral colors in the room, on your tree and mantle helps with a foundation by which you can create a non-traditional look. Investing in a custom centerpiece (like this one from  Selva Flower Design) will be so well rewarded.

As you can see through these images, the entire look and feel went from a calming winter-ish look to vibrant and warming in an instant once the centerpiece was placed. I loved Sarah’s take on a non-traditional look, highlighting pink and red with a splash of gold.

The perfect complementary colors to pair were red, cream and amber.  It is a non-traditional Christmas table decor option, but it is one that I love.
